How pricing works.

Service tiers that meet your business where it is today. Not every business needs a full managed contract. Some teams want the essential protection every business needs and prefer to pay for support only when they call. Others want the whole thing handled, with a flat monthly cost and no surprises. And some have internal IT that needs help in specific areas. Regardless of where your business is, we have an option for you.

Essential IT

Starts around: $1,250 per month + hourly support when you need it.

Teams that want core protection, but only pay for support when they use it.

24/7 monitoring, patching, backup, and cybersecurity. No monthly support contract, no minimum hours. Just pay for what you use.

Managed IT

Owner-led businesses, 5-50 users, no internal IT.
What it is
Fully managed. Helpdesk, monitoring, patching, backup, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365 administration, vendor coordination, quarterly business reviews. One monthly cost, one team that knows your environment.

Some services have specific terms: for example, hardware troubleshooting applies to covered devices under warranty, and backup-related services apply to CoreSouth-managed backup platforms. Full details are in our service agreement.

What determines your number.

Within a tier, what you actually pay depends on:

  • Number of supported users. Per-user pricing is the foundation of every tier. More users, more cost.
  • Complexity of your environment. Servers, multi-site networks, line-of-business applications with specialized support needs, regulatory scope. Complexity affects pricing.
  • Project work. Onboarding, migrations, refreshes, infrastructure builds. These are quoted separately from your monthly engagement.
  • Compliance scope. NIST 800-171 alignment, cyber insurance documentation, and regulated environments require additional work and tooling.

Frequently asked questions.

How does CoreSouth's pricing work?

We offer three tiers: Essential IT (starts around $1,250/month + hourly support), Managed IT (average around $3,500/month), and Co-Managed IT (average around $10,000/month). Within each tier, your specific cost depends on your environment, team size, and scope.

What is the minimum monthly cost to work with CoreSouth?

Our minimum monthly commitment is $1,250.

Why don't you publish per-user rates?

Per-user rates change based on environment complexity, scope, and which tier fits. Publishing one number would mislead more often than help. We give written quotes after a discovery conversation.

Are projects priced separately?

Yes. Onboarding, migrations, server refreshes, and infrastructure projects are scoped and quoted separately from monthly Managed or Co-Managed engagements.

Do you offer month-to-month agreements?

Essential IT is month-to-month. Managed IT and Co-Managed IT are 12-month agreements with a 60-Day Guarantee. Most MSPs in our market lock clients into 36-month initial agreements, which we think is a high bar to ask someone to clear before they've worked with you. If we're not delivering the value we promised in the first 60 days, you can cancel without penalty.

What happens after 12 months?

Our agreements automatically renew for another 12 months unless we hear otherwise. If something needs to change, just let us know before the renewal date.

Will my pricing change over time?

Pricing reflects your environment, so as your business grows or shrinks, your monthly cost adjusts. We don't surprise you with changes. Adjustments come with explanation and notice.

Do you charge for after-hours support?

After-hours support is included in Managed IT and Co-Managed IT. Essential IT after-hours work is hourly.
